You can create a short Animoto using photos that you have taken during your Field Trip day at Melbourne Zoo. It can be photos taken on the day of your animal and/or your 'Field Trip' around the Melbourne Zoo. This Animoto can then be embedded onto your page beneath your Animal information. Below is an example of what you can create.
If you wish to make an Animoto then you are advised to watch the 'tutorial video' at the link below prior to starting.
Go to http://www.animoto.com to create a free video show - use the special Animoto login username and password given to you by Mrs Swannell (this is different to the one used to get on your page).
Once you have completed your Animoto you will need to get the 'embedding code' and EMBED this code onto YOUR PAGE of this Field Guide - PLEASE EMAIL MRS SWANNELL WHEN YOU GET TO THIS STAGE IF YOU GET STUCK.
Go to YOUR PAGE
Click on Edit
Click on Widget tool
Select 'Other' at the bottom of the list of options
Paste your code into the box and SAVE this
You will see a grey box 'other widget' on the page
SAVE the page - this will refresh the page and your Animoto will now be shown.
If you have any problems see your teacher or Mrs Swannell in the Library
